Plan a few meals without eating the same thing all week

A recipe serves four. You only need lunch for one, with enough left for tomorrow.

  1. 01

    Start with the servings.

Decide how much you actually want to make. In Mitt, adjust the recipe’s servings to scale the ingredient quantities before shopping.

  2. 02

    Use an ingredient twice.

Spinach in a breakfast omelet, then a lunch wrap tomorrow. You can finish the bag without making the same meal again.

  3. 03

Buy for the meals you want.

If you don’t enjoy a dish the next day, make less of it. Leave a couple of meals open for something simple or a change of mind.
